They could kill every kid in the country and it will still be a price worth paying to be able to run a big, fuck-off fuel pipeline across their lands. When will people on here get some perspective?
Of course, whether or not any oil actually flows through it is another matter - the owners of the companies who built it will be long gone - lapping up their profits in some tropical tax-haven somewhere.

To indoctrinate is to be taught, to have an education is to learn. People say indoctrinate when they don't agree with what is taught, and education when they like what is being learnt.

That pretty much applies to most religions, the key difference is what they do while they're on earth.
Unfortunately, those extremists are fed total bollocks from a young age and without exposure to balancing influences, and with the right conditions, this sort of monstrosity will sadly be a possible outcome. But I still find it hard to believe that even most misguided people will condone what happened there today.
